And just like that, it’s half way through December - we hope you’re feeling festive! 

We’re feeling especially joyful having raised an incredible HK$290,000 through our No Child Left Behind appeal so far - YAY! A huge thank you to every single individual who has contributed big and small. These funds will all be matched thanks to a group of generous donors, doubling the impact of your support! 

But the really good news is there’s over HK$100,000 left in our matching fund, and there’s still time to donate! Make this season of giving a meaningful one - for the price of a secret Santa gift, you can spread some real holiday cheer this December...

HK$200 could provide an essential supplies pack for a newborn baby

HK$500 could empower a new mother to care for her baby in our newborn care and breastfeeding class

HK$1,000 could get a child a birth certificate and travel documents to provide an identity and protect from trafficking

We’re searching for a passionate individual to join our Senior Leadership Team and oversee all aspects of operations, including administration, finance, governance, human resources, and systems and technology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute as a business partner and commercial advisor, where you will have a meaningful impact on one of Hong Kong’s most unsupported and vulnerable communities.

Your donation to our No Child Left Behind appeal will help us raise urgently-needed funds for critical services, programmes and operations, and ensure no child is born without an identity, deprived of shelter, education or unable to access healthcare.

As a local, non-government funded charity that serves a marginalised community, and with 500 children and their mothers seeking help every year, we can only continue to do what we do with your continued support and generosity.

PathFinders is proud to present "No Child Left Behind: A Mother's Love Knows No Borders", a virtual exhibition that celebrates MDW mothers, who for the past 49 years have left children behind to work in Hong Kong and provide them with a brighter future. The exhibition features heartwarming stories and images about how MDW mothers and the children they leave behind endeavour to connect with each other, despite the distance.
