#forGVRmembers

Need a last-minute gift for a GVR member? Starting Monday, December 19, gift certificates will be available in $25 increments at any customer service desk. Starting January 1, 2023, recipients will be able to redeem those certificates for a credit to their ActiveNet account. Good for class registration fees (not supply fees), trips and tours, and event tickets.

Drop-in room use is here! Look for weekly schedules  posted next to most meeting rooms on the campus. Between reservations, members are welcome to use rooms while applying the wilderness lover's ethic: LEAVE NO TRACE. When staff need to come in to set up for the next activity, we ask drop-in users to exit promptly. All unreserved rooms in major centers will be locked at 8pm. The following rooms will not be available for drop-in use: kitchens in major centers, West Center rooms, the Mesquite Room at Canoa Hills, and the Art Rooms at East Center and Santa Rita Springs. If a room does NOT have a posted schedule, it is exempt from drop-in use.

It's frosty out there! Pool decks are slippery and dangerous when the temperatures drop, so pools will close on frosty mornings until it's safe to open them again.

GVR is HIRING! Part time, evening Custodians work stable 4-day schedules cleaning centers in teams. Full and part-time Recreation Services Assistants work in centers assisting members with activities and events. Full time GVR staff are offered medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. All staff receive vacation pay, 401k match*, and an annual GVR dues waiver.  Click HERE to view open positions and apply
*must be 21 years of age to participate in the 401k program

Each year, the Member Assistance Program helps GVR members in need pay their annual dues so they can stay active and contribute to their clubs and social groups. The MAP program is funded primarily through the generous donations of GVR members like you. Click HERE to make a tax-deductible donation to MAP through the GVR Foundation. The GVR Foundation has helped fund the annual MAP awards since 2014.

This year, the members of the GVR Foundation Board have personally pitched in over $10,000 in donations to MAP.  GVR Clubs have donated $15,047 to date!
