Dear friends,
I am excited to announce that I was awarded a $10,000 NYSCA Project grant for 2023.
The project proposal titled Waterways will focus on the nearby Lake Chautauqua and its water systems as a representative of Western New York Waterways. The project goal is to investigate, educate, and explore the value and alteration of Western New York Waterways. I will be collaborating with Dr. Wigdahl-Perry, an Aquatic Ecologist at SUNY Fredonia, and Toby Shepard, the Chautauqua Lake Project Director. The project will encompass community workshops, artist books and art installation. This will be somewhat similar in scope to my Navigation: Lake Erie project.
