VR VIMO a top proven mainstay
VR VIMO is now back in our sexed semen & conventional inventory and as the top proven bull in the breed with Nordic Total Merit (NTM) now of +33. Note: he has risen by 2 NTM points with the major proof run in November. He now has 1,490 daughters in 793 herds that confirm his outstanding yield index of 118. Also, VR VIMO saw improved milk volume (+4 points) to 102 and with an especially high fat PTA (122). His daughters have +.32% more fat content than herdmates.

VR VIMO complements his high production with a 120 Udder index—the highest among the active proven bulls. He’s especially top-rated in udder depth (116), makes daughters with longer teats (116) and correct teat placement. VR VIMO has daughters with more frame (122), which means a better match when used with Montbeliarde and Holstein for ProCROSS. He improves metabolic feed efficiency, too.
VR VIMO is seeing high demand globally and with heavy use in ProCROSS. Daughter reports from the UK have been especially impressive as the VIMO’s can easily keep pace with their older herdmates on production.
