The Vision

December 9, 2022

The choir-led Christmas Worship Service will be December 11 at 10:30a.m. Join with our congregation, adult and student choirs, and orchestra for a glorious morning of worship!

Do You Have A Song To Sing This Christmas?

God’s people have always been a singing people! One reason for this singing is we have a God who fills our hearts with overflowing joy! And that joy spills out through song!

Even in dark and painful times, the truth of God’s grace, love, power, and presence awakens strong songs that find themselves on the lips of God’s weary saints. Before the song even ends, the weary saints many times have found a renewed spirit and perfect peace as this song has allowed their minds to stay on the Lord.

Do you have a song to sing this Christmas? Whether your circumstances have you naturally overflowing with praise today or you are eager for a refreshing song to lift your spirits… I want to encourage you to come to worship on Sunday at 10:30 as our choir and worship ministries lead us in a wonderful morning of lifting our hearts in praise to our awesome God!

One thing is for sure… as we focus on Jesus this weekend, you’ll leave with a song you can sing and share with others this Christmas.

place your order for a poinsettia plant for our service next
week. Order forms are in the newsletter and on the table in
the Gathering Area. Just follow the instructions and place
your form and payment in the white envelope provided,
seal and place it in the container on the table, marking the
envelope “Sanctuary Flower Fund”.
Our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions goal this year is $30,000. Prayerfully consider how you will support our goal this year. Our "Big Give" Sunday is next Sunday, December 18. All funds collected in the offering plates that morning will go towards our LMCO unless designated to some other fund.
2023 Offering Envelopes are now available for pick up in the Gathering Place. In an effort to reduce cost and eliminate unused boxes, not everyone will have a box. If you regularly give online, by bank draft, or mail in payments, you will not have a box. The new boxes are for members who have regularly used their envelopes in 2022. If you do not see a box with your name, but would like to request one, please let the church office know. We may have a limited number of extra boxes available.
