If you are ill or unable to attend for any reason, we invite you to participate online via the Apopka Seventh-day Adventist Church YouTube Channel, where our services are live-streamed and where you can find playlists of past programs and events (click HERE). You can also find the link to our worship service livestream on our WEBSITE.
When you return tithes (10% of income), you support the worldwide Gospel mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our featured offering for today is the "Local Church Budget," which funds the local Apopka Seventh-day Adventist Church mission: to extend the ministry of Christ into our community with hope and wholeness.

We invite you to consider our Building Fund. As we are soon to move into our new facility (Worship Center, Gymnasium, Classrooms, and Social Space), much of the emphasis on this will shift into our Local Church Budget as it will include the mortgage. Below is a snapshot of our Local Church Budget, including our monthly and annual needs, how much has been received for each, and how much is still needed.
LOCAL CHURCH BUDGET UPDATE

Grand Opening - After many years of waiting, what a blessing it will be to soon occupy our new building expansion! However... due to circumstance we could not have foreseen when our Grand Opening was first scheduled, we will need to postpone this event. This will not drastically effect our ability to begin using the space, but we will begin with more of a "soft opening." A new date for our Grand Opening Sabbath will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you for your prayers and your patience.

TCI (Total Community Involvement) -

  • Everyone at Apopka SDA Church can be involved in ministry. Check out the TCI table in the lobby and find out how you can be involved!
  • Prayer Line Apopka - Submit praises, thanksgivings, or prayer requests using a Prayer Card or Connection Card, or email tcibuild7@gmail.com.
  • We invite all who are interested in visiting the shut-ins and seniors, to join us after church December 10.  Please bring a bag lunch for yourself.  We have lunch together and then go to one or two of our shut-ins/seniors as a group and bring them a short sermonette.  Please let me know ASAP if you are able to join us, so I can plan on how many shut-ins we can visit.  Text me, Wanya, at 863-558-1912.

Evangelism -

  • Be sure to check the "Save the Dates" Evangelism Training Calendar on the table in the foyer! We are partnering with the Southern Adventist University School of Religion to extend the ministry of Christ to our community by sharing the hope and wholeness of the Gospel!

Women's Ministries -

  • Need an excuse to bake cookies?  Women's Ministries is hosting a cookie exchange on December 4 @ 11AM.  What better excuse do you need?  Bring at least 2 dozen (24 cookies) and you'll get to take home a variety of delicious cookies to share with your family and friends. Please RSVP.

Kids Zone -

  • Help is needed at the Welcome Desk and in the classrooms! Training will be provided. Contact Curlette Reid at (407) 375-2556 and let her know you are willing to help enhance our ministry to children!

Men's Chorus -

  • Are you interested in being part of a Men's Chorus when we hold our Grand Opening for the new Worship Center? Contact Mack Rucker at wruckjr@aol.com.

Pathfinders -

  • We need materials for an upcoming Pathfinder honor! If you have new and used post cards, please bring them to Myriam Ordaz.

Good Neighbor Place -

  • We need travel size toiletries for homeless hygiene needs.   Also in desperate need of men's long pants. A donation box is in the lobby, or you can drop off your donation during the hours listed above.
  • We need you! Volunteers are invited, age 15 and up! (This is a great way for youth to get service hour credits. See the sign up sheet in the foyer! Thank you!

Notice re: Literature -

  • Any literature distributed in the church should come through the Church Office for approval and distribution.
Facility Use -
  • Please submit any requests for facility use to the office at least two weeks in advance using the "Facility Use Forms" (which can be found in the work room outside the Church Office window and on the Literature Rack in the foyer upstairs.).
