From Textbook Success Program cohorts to the thousands of attendees and speakers at Office Hours, partners, and countless others who have engaged with us to advance education, we say thank you!

Now more than ever, we are reminded about the importance of community care and how inextricable it is from our areas of work: education, publishing, academia, and open. Read on for a few of our favourite November highlights:

#OEROfficeHours Updates

Curtain Call: Office Hours with OEN & Rebus

This month we had our final Office Hours session co-hosted by the Rebus Community and Open Education Network. We reflected on the past five years of informal conversations we’ve had with one another around issues in open education. We also looked ahead to the future and offered ways to stay connected. Please consider filling out our Reflections Survey to tell us what you liked, what you didn’t, and what programming you want to see down the road!

"Office Hours has been a productive and rewarding five-year partnership with the Rebus Community,” said Karen Lauritsen, OEN’s Publishing Director. “I’ve learned so much from Office Hours guests and attendees, and I’m thankful for our time together as a community.”

If you’ve missed a session or two, fear not! Most sessions were recorded and are available on YouTube, so you can go back time and time again to watch them. You can also find Office Hours audio and chat transcripts, along with our final reflections, posted on the Open Education Network Blog and on the Rebus Community Blog.

Thank you for sharing your time, resources, and vulnerability with us over the past 5 years!

Office Hours: Reflections on Community

#OEROfficeHours concluded this month with Reflections on Community. Didn’t get a chance to join the finalé? Check out the recording or read the transcript. Many thanks to all of you who joined us to reflect on community, share your hopes for the future of open education, and say "see you later" to one another!
