In Loving Memory of Our Special Friend
Judy Buff

Dear St Patrick’s Family & Friends,

It is with a heavy heart we share with you the passing of our friend, Judy Buff.
Judy passed away at 4:15 p.m. on November 14, 2022 while her husband, Charlie Buff, was reading her a novel entitled “The Invention of Wings“ written by Sue Monk Kidd. She began to read the novel just at the time when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer; Judy and Charlie agreed that they would read it together when she could no longer hold the book upright in her hands.
Charlie expressed how their children, Jennifer, John Matthew, and Carolann, have provided loving care throughout this difficult time. He is very appreciative of all the prayers and support that have come in from friends.

Judy was a longtime member of St Patrick’s Church, both Judy and Charlie attended St Patrick’s back when it was in the storefront located in Rincon Valley! Judy had a passion for teaching children and enjoyed playing the guitar. She was very much involved with St Patrick’s and used her talents within the church. Judy will be dearly missed. Please continue to pray for Charlie and his family during this time. Charlie thanks you all for your loving prayers and support.
If you would like to help in other ways, please visit the Meal Train website the family set up. Click this link: https://mealtrain.com/2e1wm8

A service will be held at St Patrick’s Episcopal Church on December 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. There will be a reception to follow in Stevenson Hall.

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our
prayers on behalf of your servant Judy Buff, and grant her an
entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of
your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and
reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and
for ever. Amen.
