All Welcome!
Thank You Gifts
On Sunday 18 December Generation Rising are going to be out and about delivering thank you gifts to people who serve our community.  If you are able to donate a large box of chocolates or biscuits for this initiative that would be much appreciated.  Please drop donations into the church office.  Many thanks.
Christmas Cards
Instead of giving each other Christmas cards this year, please consider sending your love and best wishes to your GBC family via a message on a decoration on the GBC 2-dimensional Christmas Tree. This will be on display on the GBC office corridor window as you come into GBC. You can add your own Christmas message for all the GBC family - using the shapes supplied.
This year we are also supporting the Baptist Missionary Society Afghanistan Christmas appeal. If you wish to donate to this, you can do so online or in the container by the Christmas Tree. More details about the situation in Afghanistan and the work of BMS in that region can be found on their
website.
God Loves to Surprise Us
This month's theme for prayer is about how God loves to surprise us!
Some thoughts to guide your own prayers and meditation are on our website

Thank you
Very many thanks to all who are helping on the rota to provide lifts to Addenbrookes for Marion.  There is only one more day to fill!  Tuesday 20 December in the middle of the day.  Please contact Carol Collett if you can help with this on 01480 353520.
We are planning a baptismal service in January when one of our young people will be baptised by full immersion. If you haven’t yet been baptised or would like to explore what baptism is, then please have a word with Carolyn asap.
Happy Birthday
