Many Thanks

Charity Christmas Fair
Most of you will know that the Charity Christmas Fair was held in Fladbury Village Hall on Saturday 26th September.
After a gap of three years, stallholders and helpers were keen to raise funds for their good causes, assisted by furniture movers, poster hangers, social media workers, emailers, caterers and wine makers, donors and planners, chiefs and do-ers – and buyers.
As the doors opened at 11am, the hall was soon full of customers and chattering, creating worthwhile shopping experiences and a very happy social event. Takings were over £2,500 benefitting some 20 good causes.
But that wasn't the end. The stage was still full of bric-a-brac, despite having raised money for our super Village Hall. However, thanks to a mammoth organisation of clutter-clearers, several charity shops received boxes of goods.
One day I will try to count just how many people were involved in running this event – there were lots, including some I don’t know, but it is many thanks to you all. Equal thanks go to all who came to buy from the stalls and enjoy the refreshments – you helped to make the occasion what it was and benefit the charities. Many thanks to everyone.
Marmalade seeks owner
Found in the Village Hall after the event... a jar of marmalade on a window sill which someone had purchased, but we don't know who.
And a small neat umbrella – navy blue with coloured spots and a dark pink handle. [We do know who now for the brolly, as the owner's turned up! Ed.]
Give Jane an inch...
I still have Advent calendars for sale and...
and she takes a mile!
...something I forgot to put in December's KIT - bottles of FLADBURY APPLE JUICE from this year's harvest. It is delicious and keeps for a couple of years if unopened. It is £3 a bottle and can be purchased from Diana Brown 860519, Chris Jordan 860798, or me 860531.
Love Jane x
