I hope all is well. I'm excited to announce that my new album "Vivienne Aerts | Typuhthâng" will be released on 3/3/23. So stay tuned, cause there will be a load of chocolate and over a 100 female musicians. - YES THAT'S YOU!!
Since you have been connected to this project, you might know, I've been working on this for almost two years. So, it's been a trip. Without you, it would not have been possible, and I will do my best to make sure that you are the first to know if any news is available. First of all, you as a musician/collaborator will get the digital recording sent to you via Bandcamp when it comes out.
We will also have a special 'musician' hang / online listening party soon, and I will email you more about that later. If you are in the NY area, you are invited to party here and eat a lot of chocolate, lol.
Tomorrow, Saturday, you will get another email with the specific links to the album, and the official artwork! But here is a sneak-peak. The Bandcamp link will go live tomorrow so that's not working yet, but check out the artwork and also the interactive world map on it, where you can find yourself!! I've used the info you provided, but if there is any mistake or typo, please let me know and I'll adjust.
Because the release is approaching soon I will be in touch a little more frequently. For starters, I love to share the first video clip that goes with the album before anybody else gets to see it! Please enjoy the first single 'Just go' with vocal arrangement by Linnéa Lundgren. It features 26 amazing singers, from all over the world. It was filmed and produced in New York, hair and make-up by my friends Trudy and Mona. The official release of the song and video will be this Saturday!!

Just Go (Official Music Video)
This song is about taking chances. Originally written as a solo, it has become the biggest piece on the album. My Swedish friend Linnéa is a magician with voices and so a natural choice as the arranger of this piece. The process was intense, Linnéa imagined each voice and sang every part herself before she transcribed them and drafted the score. I was blown away when I heard her sing the first version of the arrangement. When it was fully recorded, the intensity of all these female voices made it clear that this should be the opening track. I added Pennie Taylor’s birds, recorded in the jungle of Virunga, as a perfect compliment to this dreamy atmosphere.
