Dr. Luis Martinez received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honors from Trinity University and a Master of Arts & PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University. Luis is sought out by early stage investors and senior management in private and public companies for his startup expertise in business strategy, new product and business development, customer acquisition, corporate positioning, and other various areas. He previously was the Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Trinity University where he taught courses in entrepreneurship and innovation, mentored student startups, and facilitated connecting Trinity students and faculty with entrepreneurs and accredited investors. He currently serves as a startup mentor with Geekdom, the Break Fast & Launch Culinary Business Accelerator, the HELM Small Business Accelerator and the RealCo Seed Fund Program in San Antonio, with MassChallenge Texas in Austin, and with P21 Venture Mentoring Service in El Paso. He has also served on the faculty of Rollins College, Eastern Florida State College and UTEP where he's taught Organic Chemistry and has served as a Senior Scientist at Scripps Research Institute-Florida.
