The social adventures outings have proven very popular. We have received a number of comments advising they would have participated in the outings if the member had known about it.
Non-members of the group learnt about the outings when they were reported in the Bulletin.
Starting in 2023, the social adventures outings will be a U3A Casey event. This will provide the opportunity for all members to go on the outing.
Joan Gaudion, social adventures group leader, will advise a 3-month rolling program for the next 3 outings.
They will be advertised in the Bulletin.
Bookings for the outing will be in the same format as currently used for joining a class/course. This will be on line with your membership details where you select classes/courses.
Bookings will close on a nominated date. This will allow time for the size bus required - depending on the number of members booking for the outing - to be booked.
A fee to assist with the cost of the bus will be paid at the time of booking for the outing.
As the size bus will be booked based on the number enrolling to go on the outing, refunds will not be available if you are unable to go on the outing.
The Social outings will provide a monthly social get together plus visit some interesting locations. Lunch will be at members cost.
We will advise the first 3 outings soon.
Office Assistance
The office at U3A Casey is looking for a staff member to work a couple of hours per week in 2023. As with all positions at U3A, this is a volunteer position..
This office volunteer will be trained to take enrolments and to be responsible for the hiring of buses for all U3A Casey activities.

It is not as demanding as you think & can provide considerable satisfaction that you are providing community service.

As a member of Casey U3A you are entitled to enrol in courses throughout the year. Your membership fee covers the cost of courses. Small extra charges for materials sometimes apply.
Membership is per calendar year and must be renewed each year.
