It has come to my attention that a SPAM/Phishing email was sent to a PBA member that looked like it came from me, Ken Jacksteit, with my email address, kj2196@gmail.com, as the sender.
This is what was sent:

Subject: SJPBA: Update Profile

SJPBA

We received a request to change your subscription preferences for SJPBA.

If you made this request, and would like to change your preferences, use the link below

Update your preferences

If you did not make this request, it was probably submitted by someone else by mistake. You can ignore this email, and no changes will be made to your subscription preferences.

I did not send this and don't know where it came from originally.
If you received this email, please delete it and don't click on the link.

In an abundance of caution, I have changed the password to my email address as well as the password for MailChimp.
Only Ernie Alcantar and I have the MailChimp password and Ernie has been appraised of this email.

FYI, the ONLY personal information that is on the MailChimp roster is your name and email address.
If you have any doubt if an email was sent by me, please send me an email using a separate email, don't respond to the original email or call me at
408-425-8511.

If anyone else received the above SPAM/Phishing email, please let me know by sending me an email in a separate email to kj2196@gmail.com.
