Hello and welcome!

2022 is almost at a close, but as with all endings, it means that there is a new beginning and we are already looking forward to 2023 with lots planned and plenty to be excited about!  If you aren't already following the RBD Community LinkedIn page - please give us a follow!  We regularly share and post member news on here and we are creeping up towards almost 3700 followers so its a great way to get your message out to an even bigger audience.
We will be kicking off January with a series of webinars.

The first webinar will look at "Carbon Reduction with Cost Benefits" (with a focus on energy).  The event is in association with RBD Community member, Auditel and RBD Advisory, and takes place on Wednesday 11 January online.  Auditel will explain in plain language what carbon reduction actually means for businesses, how to accurately report carbon, the importance of quantifiable data over time, and why organisation mindset and behaviour are key factors to success. Please click HERE to book.

Our second series of webinars is in association with Interimconsult and RBD Advisory - "Making innovation Happen".  This will take place on Wednesday 18 January online. The booking link will go live early next week.

DfT recently published its High Level Outline Specification and Statement of Funds Available for England and Wales.  Network Rail are using both these documents to inform their ongoing planning for control period 7 (2024-29) and expect to provide its strategic business plan to the Office of Rail and Road, in February 2023. This will set out how Network Rail plans to deliver the government's objectives for the funding available.  Rail Business Daily’s Advisory Director, Martin Little, has written a very useful summary To read the full article - click HERE.
