Coming up this Sunday, December 11, is the second half of our Hearth-Warming Holiday Traditions, hosted by author and CHC member John Ota. And what a line-up of guests John will be talking to about the ways they keep their Canadian winters festive and bright. 

 Writer and cook Bonnie Stern and her daughter Anna Rupert will talk about their family Hanukkah traditions in Toronto and other parts of the world.  Chef Michael Smith, Inn at Bay Fortune, PEI, will talk about winter on an island in the Atlantic. Grace Cameron, editor, writer, and creator of Jamaican Eats Magazine will fill us in on Jamaican Black Cake and other festive island treats. And food writer and broadcaster Don Genova, Vancouver Island, B.C. will talk about sustainable foods -- and home grown memories -- from the Pacific Coast !
