Holiday Self-Care Tips

Self Care Planning is especially important around the holidays.

Some helpful ideas from The Trevor Project:
  • Talk to someone you trust about your fears and worries
  • Identify what support you may need
  • Remember that your identity is valid regardless of what someone else thinks about it
  • Try an affirmation during anxious moments
  • Have a friend on standby to text with during family gatherings
  • Step away from a gathering if you need a break
  • After a gathering, do things that bring you comfort
