Join Sutton's Volunteer Management Network
We're hosting our next Volunteer Management Network meeting on Tuesday 31st January 2023 10.00 – 11.30am at our office. This is a friendly and informal gathering open to ANYONE working with volunteers.
You will be able to meet Natasha Blok, our new Client Services Officer - Organisations, who has recently joined. Over the past few weeks Natasha has enjoyed meeting with some of you in person. She'll share some of her findings and open up the discussion as to how you want to shape these meetings going forward to be of most use to you.
To book a place, please email Natasha Blok at natashablok@vcsutton.org.uk, so we know what numbers to expect. If you'd like to meet Natasha at a different time, please do get in touch.

*** Volunteer Recruitment Opportunity ***
Are you a group, charity or organisation who needs to recruit new (or more!) volunteers? We're gathering roles to promote in February, in our monthly Volunteering Newsletter, which goes to over 4,000 people in Sutton. Please send your info (see below for what we need) to Natasha Blok at natashablok@vcsutton.org.uk by COP Monday 13th February 2023.
We're currently shaping our plans for volunteering role promotion this year so watch this space! Read our most recent Volunteering Newsletter for #JoyfulJanuary...
What info do we need?
If you are already registered on Simply Connect (Volunteer Centre Sutton's database of volunteering organisations and roles), and your role(s) is on there, please send Natasha the links to your role(s) (and now might be a good time to take a fresh look at it to see if anything needs updating).
If you haven't yet registered with Simply Connect, it's super simple just follow this link. Anything you need help with, please get in touch with Natasha.
If you would like some help with writing a role description, there is guidance on our Volunteer Management toolkit. Natasha can also help with tips on writing a good role description.
