IP Registration Resources
Still have IP courses to complete? Here is the list of IP courses offered this spring semester. Many of the courses can be double counted with social science, humanities, or ethics requirements, as well as major or minor requirements. Remember: To receive the International Plan designation, you must complete an international relations course, global economic course, and a course specific to your country/region of study.
In addition, did you know there's a whole section of the IP website with registration resources for IP students? Not only is the short list of IP courses offered each term posted there, but also information on getting an IP permit for ECON 2101 and modern language courses, and more. Graduating this Semester?
If you are graduating this semester and want to have the International Plan designation on your diploma, be sure to submit a degree designation form!
If you are planning on graduating earlier or later than your expected date, please let the IP Manager know by emailing internationalplan@oie.gatech.edu.
Going Abroad? Make Sure it Counts
To fulfill the 26 weeks abroad requirement, you can...
- Spend 26 weeks in a country/countries that speak your IP language
- Choose a recommended program combination for your major from the Recommended Pathways list
- Obtain approval by writing a coherence statement for international experiences that do not meet either of the above criteria
