A note from BTM’s Chairman, Josh Perkins.

Recently, we wrote to you about the great growth and blessings Be There Ministries has been able to provide over the past year and the tremendous gospel and outreach opportunities that exist for 2023.

In our current day which is seemingly characterized by such disorder and great needs, Be There Ministries has been able to provide life changing necessities to the people in Ethiopia. We exist to be a Christ centered ministry to assist the vulnerable by meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through equipping youth, families, and Christian leaders.

As Be There Ministries Chairman, I am pleased and beyond humbled by the love and generosity that has been shown through the years. Your love, sacrificial giving, and steadfast dedication to Be There Ministries is truly what keeps us all going. Because of your support, we have been able to provide life changing medical care to those in need, daily essentials for hygiene, necessities such as food, water, shelter, and most importantly the Gospel.

Being a part of an organization that provides care through meeting the needs of others physically, mentally, and spiritually, is taxing; but so worth the toils that often we run into. We were never promised an easy road while here on earth, but promised eternity through Jesus Christ if we believe through faith in Him. We are instructed to “Go” in the gospels of Mark (16:15) and Matthew (28:19-20), to care for the widows and orphans in James 1:27, and told to love another as yourself in John 13:34-35.

This is all made possible because of your gifts and financial support. As the chairman of Be There Ministries, I feel it necessary to thank you for your support but also to ask if you’d consider giving a last minute end of year gift to Be There? Your support is always needed and goes so far.

I am reminded of the late R.C. Sproul, who when hearing about a successful Ligonier initiative, always moved from gratitude to asking the question, “What’s next?” I truly believe the same is true in any ministry related field that wants to see lives changed and people come to a saving knowledge of Christ. That is what I’m asking of you, “What’s next?” Will you consider partnering with us further than you already give or consider providing another end of year gift?
