FROM THE INTERIM RECTOR

To the community and friends of St. Christophers,

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, of God with us, I pray the spirit of the season inspires you to pray and to reflect on your relationship with God, with God’s people, and with the congregation of St. Christopher’s. As I move through my final months with you as your interim rector, I am extremely grateful to have walked alongside you during this time of preparation, and transition. I have experienced an abundance of love, gratitude, openness to try new things, and a willingness to “lean in!” I have experienced the hopefulness of many to deepen one’s relationship with God through Christ. I witnessed people serving hungry neighbors through partnership and fellowship. And, I was blessed work with to regroup, rebuild, and reconnect during this global endemic.

As we ponder the year that was, and as you consider your charitable giving at year’s end, I invite you to consider what the congregation of St. Christopher’s means to you and your faith journey. At year’s end, a financial donation over and above your pledge, is one way to celebrate our work together and to prepare to move and to welcome your new rector. Your support is greatly appreciated.

As I reflect on our time together, I will remember the laughter, the hope, the love, and the generous insights shared during this time of transition. These moments, now part of my memory, provide hope, gratitude, and answer to prayer. May you and your family and friends have a Merry Christmas, full of joy, laughter, blessing and thanksgiving. And may the peace of God, which passes all understanding, be with you, loving you and transforming you in magnificent ways, always.

Faithfully,
Kevin
