On December 10, 2022, several parents of our school organized a morning full of engaging activities. As they entered, children had a scavenger hunt for animals mentioned in the Quran. Later on, paper airplanes crossed the foyer even as little fingers drew big pictures. Volunteers stepped forward to make a potluck brunch. We are blessed to have parents who bring their varied talents and generous spirit to the task of nurturing young souls.
One of the remarkable effects of establishing a school is the vibrancy it brings to the entire community. Adults build bonds, solve problems, and develop skills. So, in fact, adults and communities do learn and grow by working with children.
We welcome community builders to join our effort as parents, educators, volunteers, and well-wishers.

Unity Academy of Chicago is now accepting applications for the next school year! We offer two mixed-age Montessori programs:
- Primary – for students between the ages of 3 and 5 years as of August 15, 2023. Hours are 9:00am - 3:00pm; a half day option is available from 9:00am - 12:00pm for 3 year old children.
- Elementary – for students between the ages of 6 and 8 years as of August 15, 2023. Hours are 9:00am - 3:30 pm.
