Qosmo Music & Sound AI: 動画にしっくりくる音楽をAIが自動で選曲 - 新製品「Video2Music」を提供開始しました！これまで感覚的で地味に時間のかかる作業だったBGM選びを大幅に短縮してくれるAIです。また動画にマッチしながらも、人手による選曲では思いもつかなかったような意外性のある面白い選曲も可能になります。映像とともに選曲を疑似体験できる動画や、出力例などをまとめた製品詳細はこちらからご覧ください。

Qosmo Music & Sound AI: the AI selects songs that “feel right” for the video - Qosmo releases “Video2Music” as a new lineup to Qosmo Music and Sound AI. It can drastically reduce background music selection which could take hours before. It is also possible to match the music to the video, while also providing unexpected and interesting music selections that would not have been possible with manual music selection. MUTEK.JP 2022にてNao Tokui (Qosmo)によるリアルタイム音楽生成AI及びAIオーディオ・プラグイン Neutoneを用いた「Emergent Rhythm（Real-time AI Generative Live Set）」を披露しました。サウンドと共にRyosuke Nakajima (Qosmo), Keito TakaishiによるStable Diffusionを用いた生成AI映像、ダンス映像と共にミクロ・マクロスケールを横断するヴィジュアルと共鳴したパフォーマンスは大盛況でした。お越しいただいたみなさま、ありがとうございました。

Nao Tokui (Qosmo) presented “Emergent Rhythm (Real-time AI Generative Live Set)” at MUTEK.JP 2022, using real-time music generation AI and the AI audio plugin Neutone. Ryosuke Nakajima (Qosmo), and Keito Takaishi used Stable Diffusion to visually traverse between micro and macro scales in dance videos. The performance was a great success. 代官山UNITでのイベント「Craft Alive」にて、BIGYUKI feat. Neutone による最先端のパフォーマンスが行われました。ジャズキーボーディスト BIGYUKIさんのキーボード演奏に対して弊社で開発を続けているリアルタイムAIオーディオプラグイン「Neutone」が がサックスや合唱の伴奏を行い、素晴らしいグルーヴを生み出しました。入場制限が出るほど沢山の方にお越しいただき、ありがとうございました!

Cutting-edge AI-enabled performance at Craft Alive (Daikanyama UNIT) by Bigyuki feat. Neutone. Bigyuki’s keyboard performance was accompanied by Neutone, whose AI models played saxophone, church choir, and many other sounds in real-time, creating a unique groove. MUTEK.JP にてAIプラグインNeutone開発者の徳井と増田によるミュージシャン・クリエーター向けワークショップを行いました。Neutoneのイントロダクション、機械学習におけるテクニカルなプロセス、Q&Aなど熱心な方々に参加いただき白熱したワークショップとなりました。

MUTEK.JP held a workshop for musicians and creators by Nao Tokui and Naotake Masuda, developers of Neutone, a realtime audio AI plugin. The workshop started with an introduction, followed by a deep dive into the technical process of deep learning and ended with a Q&A session. It was attended by enthusiastic participants from the creative community.

伊藤忠テクノソリューションズ様と進めている陶芸生成AIのプロジェクト、NeuCraftは、400年の時を遡る過去作品の撮影を経て、生成型AIモデルのプロトタイピングのステージに進んでいます。このプロジェクトの進捗状況をこちらのブログ記事で公開しました。本物と見間違えるようなクオリティーの画像が生成できるようにりましたが、そこからさらに先に進んで、新しい発想のインスピレーションになるような創造的アウトプットを得るための工夫に取り組んでいます。

In the NeuCraft project, we are working with CTC on building generative AI model for pottery. We just released a new blog to share the latest on this project. After taking pictures of Asahi-yaki’s old pieces dating back to 400 years, we have now moved on to the prototyping phase. While we successfully built a model that can generate highly indistinguishable level of output, we are targeting for it to generate unique and creative output that brings in new inspirations for the artist.

I AM Robot and Proudといえば2006年に「The Electricity In Your House Wants to Sing」がまわりで流行していて、何度も聴いていた思い出がある世代です。最近の彼は音楽家でありながらクリエイティブ・コーダーとしてオーディオ・ヴィジュアルの作品も制作されています。映像では音に反応して円や正方形などの典型的な幾何学形状がアニメーションします。要素は少なくミニマル、コンポジションに緊張感がありポスターのグラフィックが動いているようなすばらしい映像体験ができます。

I AM Robot and Proud is part of the generation that remembers listening to “The Electricity In Your House Wants to Sing” all of the time in 2006, when it was all the rage around us. Recently, he has been creating audio-visual works as a musician and creative coder. The images are animated with typical geometric shapes such as circles and squares in response to sound. The elements are minimal, the compositions are tense, and the visual experience is wonderful, as if the graphics on the posters are moving.
