Dear readers,

The benefits of sport on mental health and wellbeing are recognised and were highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, and noted recently in the Aspen Institute’s 2022 State of Play report. On a related note, GIZ has launched a new series of free e-learning courses on sport and mental health. 

We are pleased to announce that our open-access guidebook on Sport and Sustainable Development, created in partnership with the Japan Sport Council, is featured in the Olympic Review, an International Olympic Committee publication. 

We also highlight a cricket for good programme by the ICC and UNICEF, a video in French about the FIRE+ project, an article and course on Web 3.0 and sport for development and , and a vacancy at the Journal of Sport for Development.
