Informing you about the ministry of BCSU,
so that you will know how to pray for us.

Sofia and Varna learn together

On December 3rd a group of students from Sofia traveled to Varna. They went there to continue to study Mark’s gospel together with students from Varna who were at this summer’s Trilogy Inductive Bible Study Camp. We spent several hours studying the difficult passages about Jesus' judgment on the temple and His prophecies for the end times. We thought a lot about how all of this applies to our lives today and how we can live up to Christ’s instructions to us.

The students also had a wonderful time of bonding as they walked together along the Black Sea coast and ate dinner together at Desi's home.

Pre-holiday events

In December, students had two occasions to come together to celebrate: December 8th (our National Student Holiday) and Christmas parties. Each of the groups around Bulgaria gathered together for these events for times of celebration, games, food and fellowship.

We are grateful to God for all that He has done and is doing among us, and we enjoyed celebrating together in His presence.

Pray for:

  • the upcoming exam session that our students study and do well on their tests and that they continue to learn to do everything as for God (Colossians 3:23).
  • the upcoming Christmas holiday. Pray that we might have meaningful conversations these days and remember the real reason for the Holidays.
  • the upcoming travels for the entire BCSU Team to Poland in January as we go to the European Staff Consultation for IFES teams.
