Our Mt. Pleasant Police Department has provided us with some crime statistics for the town and are working on providing this same data for just our neighborhood. The stats are as follows:    517 vehicles entered/attempted 424 vehicles unsecured 83 vehicles secured 37 firearms stolen       All of these statistics are up to date for this year. The MPPD also want to remind everyone to make sure their holiday packages are arriving when they are home or have a neighbor pick them up! Package thefts increase during the holidays!  Temperatures have been dropping and the SC Emergency Management Division has prepared the following guide, filled with helpful reminders.
