We look forward to the New Year and a return to full capacity for our spring and summer programs.

In the meantime, stay warm and safe this week and have a very happy holiday!

Colorado Gives Day
Donors support financial literacy programs

Thank you for giving students in Colorado the opportunity to learn important lessons about personal finance, free enterprise, and entrepreneurship through hands-on programs like Young AmeriTowne and YouthBiz.

Your gifts helped Young Americans Center for Financial Education raise over $20,000 on Colorado Gives Day

We are so grateful and our students thank you.

Youth Advisory Board:
Mo Chism and Celina Cookson

This month we highlight two impressive students serving on this year’s Youth Advisory Board: Mo Chism and Celina Cookson.

Mo is a sophomore at St. Mary's Academy and a facilitator for Students Taking Action and Making Progress (STAMP), a program that equips young people with the tools to create positive, lasting change within their communities.

She recently participated in her school's mock trial as an expert witness, placing 4th at regionals. From that experience, she developed time management skills and learned how to successfully work in a group.

A first-generation American, Celina is a senior at Prospect Ridge Academy where she serves as student body vice president.

Her favorite accomplishment while serving on student council has been raising money for “Team Ruffalo” – a cancer-awareness organization started by a fellow student. Celina's compassion for others is inspiring.

Sponsor Spotlight:
Thank you, Community Partners!

In this season of giving, we appreciate the time that our community partners have spent supporting this great organization. Whether it was volunteering as a shop business consultant in Young AmeriTowne, acting as a judge for our YouthBiz student business pitch competitions in classrooms, or serving on the selection panel for the YouthBiz Stars statewide young entrepreneur competition, we treasure your participation.

These corporate leaders are Colorado’s most community-minded companies working consistently to create a culture of service and dedication to building a better tomorrow.

When you volunteer for any of our programs, you can see the magic happen as kids develop a financial foundation that will serve them now and in the future. First experiences happen every day at Young Americans, such as applying for a job, understanding supply and demand, experimenting with various marketing tactics, and repaying a bank loan.

We are honored to have you share in these experiences and help shape the workforce of the future.
