News from the Provincial Office
Our logo has a new tag line! You'll find it on the heading of this newsletter. Classical Competitive Festivals has been replaced by Performing Arts Competitions. The new tag line keeps pace with changes to our syllabus in recent years and is more representative of the variety of classes offered. The new logo is available on our website at https://smfa.ca/program-ads/ and is to replace the old logo on all District Festival programs, signage and correspondence.
Syllabus Changes & Corrections are updated as needed. Please check this link regularly. An updated version of the syllabus can also be found here. Users of the print syllabus will need to be familiar with the Syllabus Changes & Corrections document as posted on the website.
Mark your calendars for a Zoom Meeting for District Festivals on Thursday, January 5 @ 7:30pm to discuss operational issues and answer your questions. To help facilitate the meeting, we ask that you please submit questions in advance to sask.music.festival@sasktel.net. While the intent of the meeting is to discuss issues with festival committee members, teachers are welcome to join the meeting too. The invitation link will be sent to District Festival Corresponding Secretaries in early January, to be forwarded to interested parties.
