Unsure about the next step for your business venture? We're accepting applications for our winter Accelerate cohort! Accelerate is open to teams who want to launch high-growth businesses or explore the commercialization potential of an idea. 

The nine-week program takes place on Tuesdays from 3-5pm.

OSU Advantage Accelerator Client Awarded $750k in NSF Funding!

The OSU Advantage Accelerator is involved with a team that was chosen to participate in the NSF Convergence Accelerator Track I: Advancing sustainable materials Solutions and Capabilities. The award is for $750k. Their technology focuses on the sustainable mining of green hydrogen in parallel with value-added critical elements from seawater for clean energy applications. Team members include: Zhenxing Feng, Chih-hung Chang, Kelsey Stoerzinger, Astrid Layton, Mark Farley, and Maria Wright

Interested in learning more about recent accomplishments within Oregon’s innovation ecosystem? Read the Innovate Collaborate Oregon (ICOregon) 2022 Impact Brief, which highlights successes across the ICOregon university network, including startup milestones and university grants aimed at promoting innovation and economic development across the state. TiE University is empowering university students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs by educating, mentoring and inspiring university students to plan and take intelligent risks in starting a business. TiE University brings together university entrepreneurs with successful business leaders across Oregon to perfect their pitch, develop their product or service and provide a holistic approach to their startup. The program culminates with a Global Pitch Competition that takes place at TiECon Silicon Valley, one of the worlds largest investor conferences in the world.

Oregon State University startup Alerty won the 2022 Best Social Entrepreneur award.

New funding opportunity promotes capacity building to broaden participation in regional innovation ecosystems

NSF’s Enabling Partnerships to Increase Innovation Capacity, or EPIIC, program is encouraging minority-serving institutions, two-year institutions, primarily undergraduate institutions and other emerging research institutions to participate in regional innovation ecosystems and potentially partner with a future NSF Regional Innovation Engine. The program will invest up to $400,000 per award over three years to develop the capacity and institutional knowledge needed to build new partnerships and secure future external funding, enabling awardees to tap into their regional innovation ecosystems.
