1pm - How it was told to me - Maori Legends . . .

is a collection of three theatrical short animations  showcased as a complete collection. THE CREATION STORY tells the tale of Ranginui the Sky Father and Papatūanuku the Earth Mother, and their many children plotting to separate them. In RONA AND THE MOON we learn how Marama, the Moon, came to look the way it does in our southern skies today. THE GREAT WAKA tells of the creation of The Milky Way with all its constellations, and how they have been used through the ages to guide Polynesian sailors navigating the southern seas.

2:15pm - Origins of Life . . .
is a motivational journey through time and a celebration of life on Earth. Many recent discoveries related to life science are featured, demonstrating to youth that if there was ever a time that science made its greatest advances, it would be right now.

Hokulani Imaginarium coloring book launch . . .

was a tremendous success and we Thank our patrons and followers for their response. Although many purchased the coloring books as holiday gifts, people are already calling to see if they can get copies as birthday gifts and other occasions. The answer is YES! Call dineene at 808-235-7350 or email her at dineene@hawaii.edu.

The “Star Story Coloring Book” features six star stories from Hawaii, China and Korea. These star stories are featured on the Imaginarium website as well as at the Imaginarium. They make a one-of-a-kind gift for your favorite young stargazer. You can’t get these books on Amazon or at a bookstore. These are special one-of-a-kind gifts. Proceeds from the sale of these books, which only cost $5.00, will go to help Windward Community College meet its year long goal to raise one million dollars for scholarships in honor of WCC’s 50 years of service to students and the community.

  - Was Home for Christmas

The first mission of NASA's Artemis moon program is in the books.

An uncrewed Orion capsule splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Baja California ecember 11, bringing a successful end to NASA's historic Artemis 1 moon mission after a 1.4 million-mile (2.3 million kilometers) flight. The splashdown occurred 50 years to the day of NASA's Apollo 17 moon landing, the last astronaut mission to touch down on the lunar surface.
