SWAG (Students Will All Graduate)

SWAG (Students Will All Graduate) is offered by a team of Youth Workers, Ontario Certified Teachers and Volunteers 4 days a week throughout the school year and summer. Ottawa West Community Support offers seniors an opportunity to go the Carlingwood Shopping Centre for personal shopping and banking. Clients are picked up and dropped off at home after the shopping trip. A volunteer accompanies the seniors to the mall. A small fee applies. A Friendly Voice
This telephone friendly visiting line for seniors is designed to provide an option for those who may be feeling lonely or isolated. COVID-19 Vaccines
Do you have questions about vaccines and booster doses? Consider getting your booster ahead of what may be an active flu and respiratory illness season in our community if you are 18 and over. It is recommended to receive the Bivalent Booster at an interval of at least six months from your previous dose. For more information click here.

Counselling Connect
With planning and development support from the Ottawa Health Team-Équipe Santé Ottawa, community-based mental health and addiction counselling providers responded. Counselling Connect provides all ages free access to a same-day or next-day phone or video counselling session, and counsellors can be requested from the African, Caribbean and Black communities, the LGBT2QI communities, and the Indigenous communities, and is also offered in Arabic.  Click here for more information.
