Please do check the temporary box with dividers at the back of church, they still have lots of Christmas cards in them!

 All Saints News at Christmas

You are receiving this email newsletter as usual for Christmas Day and there will be another for New Year's Day. The next deadline for items is noon on Thursday 29 December. There will be no print version on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.

Youth Clubs

Engage (school years 6-9, ages 10-14) will restart on Thursday 12 January and Encrypt (school years 10-13, ages 14-18) kicks off on Friday 13 January.
Thank you to those who pray regularly for the youth ministry at All Saints – please join me in giving thanks for the teams of youth leaders who serve the young people so faithfully and enthusiastically week-by-week. Stuart Silk

Youth Weekends Away – can you help?

We are looking for folks to provide hot meals on Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime for the Engage Weekend Away on 28/29 January at the Westwatch Centre, just past Horsted Keynes.  We are hoping to have 20 young people (aged 10-14) and 5 leaders who would be grateful for whatever you can provide!  If you can't help on this occasion, the older teens group, Encrypt, are having their Weekend Away at the same venue on 25-26 February, and are also looking for cooks for Saturday evening and Sunday lunch.  If you can help in any way, please drop me a line.  Many thanks.  stuart.silk@lindfield.info  / 07866 487535

Stamps for the Leprosy Mission

The Leprosy Mission will no longer be collecting stamps as part of their fund raising. The value of stamps has fallen in the last couple of years and with the introduction of bar-codes the stamp value has fallen even further. Therefore the last collection from our notice board by the pigeonholes in the Tiger will be on Wednesday 11 January. We have been sending stamps from All Saints to the Leprosy Mission for 15 years and the Leprosy Mission thanks you all for the stamps that you have donated over the years. Thank you. Barbara Hoy

BEYOND ALL SAINTS
Ode to Joyce Concert

The Apollo Theatre Company will be performing a selection of songs and monologues of Joyce Grenfell on Friday 20 January at All Saints to raise funds for a singing project for people living with dementia.
