What's Happening

Staff Appreciation

Our church staff work hard serving Ashland Church throughout the year. If you would like to say "Thank you!" for all of their service and dedication, you can bless them with an extra gift this time of year by clicking here. Our staff is able to minister to our families and the community around us through God's grace and the gifts given.

Sorrow and Hope: Prayers of Lament for Injustice

Monday, January 16 | 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Lament is more than an expression of sadness, it is prayer that is made in expectation that God does and will act. This time of guided, group prayer meets monthly.

Get Involved

We Need You!

Urgent needs include: Children's Ministry Admin, A/V Team

Adult Classes

Sunday Mornings, 9 a.m.

God's Amazing Story of Redemption & Atonement: The book of Hebrews is the bridge that connects the Old Testament and the New. These covenants are completely different and yet many approach God on the basis of Old Testament Law instead of New Testament faith. The entire book is about Jesus and how He is the guarantee of a new and better covenant. It is essential for every Christian to understand.

Bible Studies & Small Groups

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

The Tuesday morning Bible study meets at 10 a.m. We will continue our study in the book of Genesis, meeting on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month after that.

Coping with the Holidays

For most people, holidays are a happy, festive time of year. But, for those facing holidays after the loss of a loved one, it can be lonely, depressing, and often difficult to handle. Holidays or not, it is important for you to find a way to take care of yourself. Find more at https://samaritannj.org/resources/coping/

First Aid Kits

Donations Welcome!

We are updating our first aid kits and looking for donations. You can contribute through the Amazon Wishlist. Check out our wishlist by clicking here. Thank you for helping to keep our church safe and healthy!

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry is busy making prayer shawls to share with anyone in our congregation, friends or family. They are free and are located in boxes in both hallways across from sanctuary doors. We encourage you to share “a hug,” and let the recipient know that Ashland Church cares and we are praying for them.

Prayer Requests?

Reach out to us here to let us know how we can be praying for you. One of our elders or deacons will reach out to you.

Worship

Communion Sunday

Communion is typically served the first Sunday of every month. The next communion will be January 1.
