Happy New Year, Church Family!
I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do in and through us for His glory in 2023!
I am also overflowing with gratitude to our church, the Personnel Committee, the deacons, and the staff for providing an opportunity to take a sabbatical during February and March of this year.
These two months will be an intensive time of research and writing for my Doctorate of Ministry program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The main goal of the research is to create a study on “Kingdom Unity” for UHBC leaders. This sabbatical will put me in a good position to graduate in December of this year.
These months will also be a special time for University Hills as Kolby Thomas, our Pastor to Students, preaches six of the eight Sundays I will be away. Kolby has a wonderful gift of teaching and preaching that will bless our church in a rich way during this time.
Please pray for my family and me during this sabbatical. We are trusting the Lord for special help and strength to accomplish the writing and research. Additionally, we pray we’ll experience a season of refreshment in the Lord!

2023 Offering Envelopes
2023 Offering Envelopes are now available for pick up in the church office. In an effort to reduce cost and eliminate unused boxes, not everyone will have a box. The new boxes are for members who have regularly used their envelopes in 2022. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
