Dear church family,
Join us as we go Christmas caroling on December 23rd at 5pm! Please bring a light necklace and a light to read music if you don't already know the carols. We are planning to meet on Turrentine Drive to carol around the Turrentine neighborhood and then we'll proceed to the Krieger's neighborhood. Music will be provided for all who come. After caroling in the Krieger's neighborhood we'll be reconvening at their place for wassail! Hope you can join us!
If you have any questions, please contact Chris Yee by email chris@efclascruces.org.
Thanks!

Equipping Class - Beginning January 8!
|
|
|
Do you know people who are struggling financially? Do you need help with your finances? Do you want to help others? Our equipping classes are an opportunity for you and the people you know to be equipped. We invite you to bring others with you to the Equipping Classes we offer. This class will meet in the main auditorium for eight weeks starting January 8 at 9 AM.
Intro to Biblical Finances:
In this class, we will explore what the Bible has to say about finances and how that should affect our daily lives. Does God really care about how we use money? Is true financial freedom possible in today’s economy? Is the amount of our income the most important factor in financial success? Are our finances an indication of our attitudes toward God and others? We will explore these and other questions as we look at practical ways we can serve God through our financial resources.
You can register here for the class:https://fefc.breezechms.com/form/8c49f7

Dear church family,
We will be moving toward having the program/bulletin online. Don't freak out, for as Pastor Jeremiah says, "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape"! The transition will take place over the next few weeks. We will have both printed programs and online programs through the end of the year. Once we make the switch, we will have a few one-page programs available for those who really want/need one. We will have QR codes around the lobby and auditorium for people to scan to get to the program. You will also have access to the sermon outline through the online program/bulletin (we will have more outlines available in print than programs when we make the transition).
There are several reasons for making this change:
In an effort to reach young families and people from the university, people in this age group are very used to having things electronically. Most people throw their programs away because they don't need them once the service is done. It will reduce waste and cut the cost of paper. Having the program online will allow people to have what they need when they need it. Moving in this direction helps us increase administrative efficiency.
During the transition time, the greeters will point people to the online version that they can access through the QR code, but you are welcome to take the printed version. You can also access the program by typing in the address that will get you directly to the program. www.efclascruces.org/program
