I have a wicked dream for 2023. Not, an evil nightmare. But, wicked in the sense meant by scientists when they refer to ‘wicked problems’. Wicked problems are those that involve technical, social and economic challenges. Wicked problems are complex and daunting. I dream of solving one of those problems. I dream of creating a manufacturing Renaissance in the US. Where small manufacturers and their communities are flourishing, and where young people want to work.
