Hi, Reckless ones

Apologies for the delay but I've been trying to register a song with the Official Charts and the amount of form filling and jiggerpokery involved is next level mindboggling.

What are you up to? I hear you cry. Well, now that Amazon have increased the Tripe Marketing Board's book 'Forgotten Yorkshire' to £10, their amazing foodbank fundraising efforts have now effectively ended, thus passing the torch to me get a single out in order to continue raising funds. Too late for the Christmas charts obviously, but at least I've now got most of the admin out the way. See here for details.

At time of writing, this year's Xmas chart topper is yet to be announced but, as is now traditional, we're putting our full weight behind Kunt And The Gang For Christmas No.1

Meanwhile, in a final end of year flurry, I've rushed out Reckless Footbal Club Anthems and the first volume of the Best Of The Daily Reckless 2022. I also featured two tracks from the Football anthem on the front page - Qatar, Man (based on Bread's 'Guitar Man) and Questionable Moustache (based on Something Else).

Probably no newsletter next week, so I'll leave you with a stramash-up based on the story about Bob Dylan being asked to do a cameo on Coronation Street - Must Be Judas (Ken Barlow Heckles Dylan) backed by Dylan's own 'Must Be Santa.'
