Christmas Eve Offering

This year our Christmas Eve Offering will be split between two organizations:

East Side University. This is a youth program run by Darryl and Stephanie Answers at New Community Covenant Church. Here is a little more from Darryl:
"The greatest asset in our communities are the people. Eastside University uses an Asset-Based Community Development approach for its community engagement, which begins with the question “What can we do with what we already have?”
'Eastside University exists to create community, build social capital, and organize neighbors to build local power. This is done by training youth to discover, connect and celebrate the gifts of neighbors on the eastside of Kansas City, MO."

Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp. The Midwest Conference Women Ministries is planning a mission trip to Covenant Mountain Mission Bible Camp in Appalachia this Spring. The women will be painting, cleaning, and working on other projects to get the camp ready for summer campers. Some of the funds from our Christmas Eve offering will go toward the supplies needed for these projects.

Christmas Day Worship Service
Sunday, December 25th at 10:15am

Join us for a relaxed and family-friendly celebration of Jesus's birth. We will sing carols, hear a short devotion, and have snacks and hot chocolate.

End of Year Charitable Giving Options

Please note as you make your year-end plans that the last Sunday of 2022 is December 25th. The Finance Ministry would like you to be aware of the various giving options available to support Harvest Ridge and its ministries.

Mercy and Missions Ministry

Devotions at True Light Overnight Shelter

True Light Family Resource Center has begun opening its doors to women who need a place to stay overnight. This is a huge need in the Kansas City metro and True Light is answering the call.

Pastor Tiffany is planning to lead a devotional time for the women two times in the next few weeks. If you are interested in coming along to encourage some of the women or if you would like to lead a devotion yourself, please email Pastor Tiffany (tiffany@harvestridge.org).

Adult Sunday School

Date: Every Sunday
Time: 9:00AM
Location: RSM/Youth Room
Join us as we study the book of Exodus. Everyone is welcome!

RSM/Youth Ministry

Confirmation
Date: Most Sundays during the school year
Time: 9:00AM
Location: Library

This term we will be looking at the Canon of Scripture, Church history, the tenets of the Reformation, and do Spiritual gifts assessments and consider application. The class is intended for young Christians grades 6,7 & 8 and any folks who would like to attend. (There are other adults attending.) Please speak with Larry Lang if you have any questions.

RSM Youth
Date: Every Wednesday
Time: 6:30pm
Location: RSM/Youth Room
