Christmas Day
Collect of the Day
Almighty God, who hast given us thy only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him, and as at this time to be born of a pure Virgin: grant that we, being regenerate, and made thy children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by thy Holy Spirit.
From the Parish Office
Greetings. This year the parish crib scene fell to be the responsibility of the flower arranging team and we are grateful to them for another inspired rendition - as indeed we must be to all others who have helped with getting the church ready for the coming season. I hope, whether with us or elsewhere, all our Ave readers may have a happy and blessed celebration of the feast. Sidespeople on alert though - it will be your turn with the crib scene next year!

With all good wishes,
Fr Andrew Walker
Parish Priest
