Tell us about your family and how you heard about PJ Library!
We are Adam and Samantha Pollock. Our son Benny is turning 6 in January, our daughter Goldie just turned 3 last week and our big dog Frankie is 9.5! Sam's sister heard about PJ Library from a friend and signed up our son when he was born. It was such a fun surprise!
Tell us about your experiences with PJ Library and how this program (books, events and/or initiatives) has impacted your family.
Our two children love receiving their PJ Library books each month. It is always an exciting day when they get to open their own mail and see what's inside. Having books that are themed around the current Jewish holiday always prompts us to start thinking about that holiday and incorporating it into our lives.
What are your child(ren)'s favourite PJ Library books?
Rosh Hashanah is Coming, Goldie’s Purim, Sunrise Sunset and Hanukkah Nights!
What has been your child's/family's favourite PJ Library program or initiative and why?
Our favourite PJ Library program to date was definitely In The Kitchen With Baillie & Lyla during the pandemic, where we baked Chocolate Matzah Bark for Passover!
What would you say to a friend who has never heard about PJ Library?
Sign up! PJ Library has brought so much joy into our home over the last six years and has enhanced our Jewish life. Our kids love receiving their books and participating in PJ Library programs and initiatives. We are lucky to have access to something like this.
