No Wednesday Night Activities December 28th

End of Year Giving and Holiday Office Hours
The last day to turn in a charitable contribution for 2022 is December 31. You can drop off your End of Year Giving in person in the church office by December 29. Mailed payments must be postmarked by December 31.

Church Office hours for the remainder of the year are:
December 27-29: 8:00am-2:00pm 
The office will be closed Monday, December 26, Friday, December 30, and Monday, January 2.
2023 Offering Envelopes are now available for pick up in the Gathering Place. In an effort to reduce cost and eliminate unused boxes, not everyone will have a box. If you regularly give online, by bank draft, or mail in payments, you will not have a box. The new boxes are for members who have regularly used their envelopes in 2022. If you do not see a box with your name, but would like to request one, please let the church office know. We may have a limited number of extra boxes available.
The WMU would like to thank you for your generous contributions towards our $30,000 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal this year. Praising God for your faithful giving, we are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our goal with a current total giving of $33,236.34.
From the Personnel Committee:
Announcing New Church Hostess
As those in attendance at the church meal on December 14th heard, Daleen Downs has retired from the position of Church Hostess.  We are so thankful for Daleen and her 25 years of ministry in this position at UHBC.  We pray the Lord’s blessings on her as she transitions to other responsibilities.
Stepping into the Church Hostess position will be Tricia Norris.   We welcome Tricia on board as she begins in this new ministry position on the first week of January 2023. How thankful we are to the Lord for providing new leadership for this ministry.  Come Wednesday, January 4th, for the meal and welcome Tricia as our new Church Hostess.  Remember to register for the meal by Monday noon, January 2nd by contacting Tricia at tnorris1954@yahoo.com or 704-564-9308.
