Season’s Greetings from the 7/15 Norwalk Project!

We hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday season. As this year ends, the 7/15 Norwalk Project Team wants to share important project updates and provide a look ahead for 2023.

Environmental Documentation
The Project Team will be releasing the Environmental Assessment/Environmental Impact Evaluation (EA/EIE) in early 2023. The EA/EIE document will include a detailed evaluation of the potential benefits and impacts of the alternatives under consideration. It will include a recommendation of a preferred alternative. The EA/EIE will be available for the public to review on the project website at that time. As part of the EA/EIE review process, the project team will continue to meet with Elected Officials, PAC members, and stakeholders and hold a Public Hearing. There will be a public comment period for all interested parties to submit comments about the EA/EIE. Comments will be received by email, via the project website, or by mail. 

What are the next steps?
The Project Team anticipates the Public Hearing to be held in early 2023. The team will provide notice to stakeholders and the public once a meeting date is determined. `
