Member Meeting
Member-Required: Join CTC's Board of Directors for our Annual Member Meeting, hosted virtually on March 23, to recap on the fiscal year. More details coming soon!
Community Requirement: All households must exchange their fire extinguisher at the CTC Garages on Feb. 22 or 23 between 8 am - 5 pm. -- otherwise pay a $30 fee.

New 'Social Hour with the Board' Monthly Event - join the opportunity to interact with board members, share thoughts and ideas, and give feedback to the Board in a relaxed environment. First social hour on Jan. 12 at 5:30 pm.

Financial Update: Sound ending to a fiscal year and starting a new one, with review of the FY 22-23 budget and fee schedule.
This summer, our co-op is investing in outdoor amenities; your survey responses helped determine which projects are underway -- such as adding a bike park playground -- and, now, voice what features you want in these projects!

Discuss, deliberate, and decide the plans to enhance our final projects, to be built and enjoyed this summer, by attending our upcoming open house events.
Please do not overload the laundry machines -- it ruins the machine, poses a fire hazard, and it doesn't provide a satisfactory wash/dry cycle for you.

CTC's office will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Please call 651-646-7526 for any maintenance emergencies.
Home Heat + Humidity
Review our Heating Guidelines for important reminders - plus continue to close windows, monitor humidity, and remove excess humidity.
Winter Responsibilities
Review your seasonal co-op duties, including shoveling, parking lot reminders, snow emergencies, and extended travel checklist. We'll make it through, together!
Laundry Room Cleaning
Coming Soon: A new and improved 'Universal Cleaning Hub' for co-op members to easily find and manage assignments, reminders, and more!
All residents must keep their yard/gardens (and hall/stairwell for 1-bdrms) clear and clean year-round to avoid any associated fees. Expand requirements.
Housing Policy Reminders
Review procedure for Household Changes (add/remove leasees, roommate changes, subleases). A 60-day notice is required for move-out (form on RentCafe).
Pay Online for Free
No ACH transaction fee to send online payments from your bank account(checkings or savings) via your RentCafe. More on RENTCafe services + login.
Mail Misdeliveries
View tips to returning or finding misdelivered mail in the community, as well as full USPS + delivery information, on our Postal Service webpage.
Meet, socialize, and discuss with your board of directors during our new, monthly, open, community social hour! First event on Jan. 12, 5:30-6:30 pm.
CRP Tax Ineligibility
CTC is not required to pay property taxes, in which our residents are not eligible for a refund via submitting a Certificate of Rent Paid with their tax returns.
Holiday Tree Removal
Place all holiday trees at garbage sitesnow through January 20, and UMN Landcare will remove them. Please avoid blocking the dumpsters or sidewalks.
Cops & Coffee Event
Join UMPD Officers for free coffee, donuts, conversation -- plus receive a CATGUARD label, for catalytic converter theft prevention -- on Jan. 24 at 7-8 am.
Donation Drive - Jan. 26
Support the on-going need of our greater community by bringing food and hygienic supplies to our donation drive on January 28 between 9 am-12 pm.
Free Sewing Group + Clinic
In an equipped workshop, work on projects of your choice or consider ideas suggested by the instructor. First session on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 10 am-12 pm.
Room Reservations
The three rooms upstairs in the Community Center are available for reservations, which residents can reserve free of charge (and all the fun!)
Keystone Foodmobile
The free, mobile food shelf will serve UMN students + families on the second Thursday of the month from 12-2 pm in CTC's north/seasonal lot.
MCK Ready-to-Heat Meals
Take-and-bake meals available weekly on Thursdays from 12-1 pm at CTC's north/ seasonal parking lot. Meals are available for anyone interested (while supplies last).
