On behalf of SALAM management, families, and our community, thank you for your support! As a masjid in America, we are not funded by the government or private industry. Our programs, classes, lectures, services and outreach are sustained by generous donations from our community. Every dollar given goes to supporting SALAM activities and is rigorously tracked and audited by an independent accountant. More importantly, every amount given is accounted by Allah swt, no matter the size. May Allah accept it from you. Ameen.

God encourages us to be generous with what he has provided us and promises to multiply the reward of charity. Thank you for sustaining the house of Allah, and thank you for choosing to give to SALAM Center. May God bless you for your generosity and multiply the reward of your good deeds.

If you have made a pledge at our annual banquet and would like to pay it in person, please stop by the SALAM office between 10 am – 4 pm, Tuesday - Saturday. You can also pay online through Mohid

If you would like to make a donation, please do so by going to the donation page on our website.

United We Stand

Recap

The interfaith community of Sacramento commemorated the annual United We Stand event on December 8, 2022, at SALAM. The event, which was well attended, featured many interfaith leaders.

This year’s theme was “Gun Violence in our Country.”. The event is observed to renew the Interfaith commitment to make Sacramento a safer and better place to live.

Interfaith Council of Greater Sacramento (ICGS) President Serene Erby discussed diversity and solidarity with SALAM. Deacon Paul Fredericks, the ICGS Treasurer, blessed the event with a prayer. And SALAM’s Executive Director, Br Abdul-Qawiy Abdul-Karim, welcomed the guests and speakers.
