Dear Donor,

Five US Presidents, three Chicago Mayors, a World Series title for both the White Sox and the Cubs, and hundreds of students reaching their full potential. What do all of these milestones have in common? They have all been accomplished over the last 25 years.

For 25 years the PEAK organization has provided four-year, full-tuition scholarships and award-winning 1:1 mentoring for hundreds of typically overlooked students: academically average performers who show the grit and desire to succeed. The result is high school graduations and scholars moving on to be productive members of our community.

As the next 25 years tick on, we will continue to add new Presidents and Mayors to the timeline, and if we are lucky enough, our city will once again claim a championship title. Our support isn’t needed much for any of this to be accomplished except voting and cheering. But for PEAK to continue our mission for the next 25 years, your support is greatly needed.

There’s no doubt about it, the PEAK model delivers the services that help our scholars gain confidence and find their path to success. With the support of a mentor and strong academic programming, our PEAK scholars regularly go from average grades to a variety of productive paths -- a four-year university, community college, or career placement.
With your commitment and generosity, PEAK can continue this success for many years to come.

Please join me in making a gift to the annual fund to ensure our PEAK scholars reach their full potential. Who knows, a PEAK scholar might just be a future President.

Two times the success at PEAK

For 25 years PEAK has supported incredible scholars at Holy Trinity High School like twin sisters Precious and Priska.

As PEAK Scholars, these juniors are excelling in the classroom, both earning over a 3.5 GPA. In addition to their academic successes, the girls have experienced incredible opportunities through PEAK that have shaped their character and expanded their confidence. With their mentors by their sides, Precious and Priska have participated in cooking classes at The Chopping Block, learned about Chicago’s history on the Architectural Society’s riverboat cruise, and leadership skills through Improv lessons. The twins attribute their success to the support and encouragement of the PEAK program. With only one year of high school left they both would like to pursue a career in the medical field after college.
