It may be hard to believe, but 2022 is nearing its end. Leave this year on a high note by celebrating your New Years' Eve in Downtown Harrisonburg. Here are a few venues that are hosting get-togethers to welcome 2023:
- For the Early Birds - Ring in the New Year a little early at Explore More Discovery Museum on Saturday, December 31 from 10 AM- 2 PM for New Years at Noon! Kids of all ages are welcome to come make your own noisemakers and party hats and to enjoy an epic bubble wrap dance party when the clock strikes 12 (noon). This event is free with your membership or paid admission, and advanced registration is not required.
- Jam out to Local Music - Ring in the New Year with local favorites! The Judy Chops will be playing at Clementine. $20 in Advance or $25 at the Door. Pale Fire will be hosting Dogwood Tales, $15 a ticket (including a midnight toast). Want something earlier? Rocktown Kitchen will also be hosting Morgan Dean from 5 - 9 PM.
- Karaoke and Good TImes - Spend New Year's Eve at Sage Bird Ciderworks to enjoy karaoke in The North Wing Gallery, photo & gif booth with props/background/texted photos to commemorate the evening, games and puzzles out in the main taproom, and a midnight countdown with toast to the New Year! No cover charge.
- Pink Ambition x Mashita - Do not miss your chance to enjoy great music, great drinks, live entertainment from Pink Ambition Pole Fitness, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight at Mashita! This is a ticketed event, reserve your ticket online or at the restaurant! Tips for performers are strongly recommended.

Skeleton Festival

Activities kick off with trick-or-treating at downtown businesses and culminate with a fun all-ages. The festival features kid, dog, and adult costume contests, Sip & Stroll, arts and crafts activities, food trucks, community ofrenda, and even more surprises!

Winter Wonderfest

The community is invited to Sip & Stroll and shop while taking part in family-friendly activities such as voting in the Annual Gingerbread House Build-off, touring downtown in a horse-drawn carriage, visiting with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and much more. The day is capped off with the City of Harrisonburg’s annual Holiday Parade and tree lighting.

New: Levit AMP [Harrisonburg] Music Series
|
|
Thanks to overwhelming community support, we will be bringing the three-year Levitt AMP [Harrisonburg] Music Series to Downtown Harrisonburg starting in 2023! The free concert series will be taking place in the grassy lot near Turner Pavilion on Wednesday evenings from July - September.
We will be hitting the ground running in January with a volunteer interest meeting. There will be many ways to get involved with this series; join us for a volunteer info session Tuesday, January 10 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM, location TBD. Fill out the interest form to be notified about info session details.

Interested artists are invited to review the Request for Qualifications document and submit ensure that they are an eVA vendor by 3 PM on January 19 for consideration.
