The Bluebirds 1 were busy doing Christmas crafts and learning about the color RED this week. They decorated their Christmas photo frames and enjoyed bowling 🎳.

The Redbirds 1 class had fun making Christmas ornaments and doing puzzles.

Tadpoles 1 learned about Hanukkah this week, and they practiced writing their names.

As part of our energy unit in science, the Fourth Graders recently constructed solar ovens and baked s’mores.

Thank you so much for those of you who donated toward our holiday food drive. We boxed and delivered the food to St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Harvey this week. We collected 60 cubic feet of food which will serve about 60 families this month. This type of activity is another visible example of our community and underscores our Episcopal Identity. We give because so much has been given to us.
This Saturday, December 17, I will be at St. Mark's ( 3245 Manhattan Blvd, Harvey, LA 70058 ) helping to load cars from 11 am to 1 pm. If you would like to stop by to help us out, please let me know. It is a great lesson for the kids to see what their work accomplishes and moves us from the theoretical to the practical.

Prospective Parents
We are currently accepting applications for 12 months through Grade 8. To be assured of timely processing, applications should be submitted as early in the fall as possible and prior to December 31 to be assured first-round admission consideration. If you have any questions about the re-enrollment or the application process for next school year please contact Lisa Witter at lwitter@standrewsepiscopalschool.org or 504-866-6553.
From the Financial Aid Office
Families interested in applying for financial aid for the 2023-2024 School year must submit a financial aid application form to the St. Andrew's Episcopal School Financial Aid Office by February 1, 2023 signifying they would like to be considered for financial aid.

We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial aid process. The entire application process is processed on-line and is kept confidential. SSS provides a Family Resource Center to assist families in learning more about applying for financial aid.
