The link between corporate profits and inflation, the shrinking value of the minimum wage, low pay for teachers, and the growing gap between worker productivity and their pay—these were subjects of EPI’s most popular charts this year

A fifth chart showed how government pandemic stimulus programs gave a lifeline to many of those struggling to make ends meet.  

Together, these charts tell a story of how pandemic setbacks in income inequality were mitigated by pandemic relief polices that helped keep millions out of poverty through a very tough period.
