It’s Snowing Puppies! Fosters & Adopters, Contact Us Now! |
| This holiday season, we had planned to take a pause in rescues while we regrouped from a busy year that included a number of major medical cases. But fate and our dedicated rescue partners had other ideas. In recent weeks, we’ve been asked to take on three litters of puppies and their mamas, a total of 24 dogs! That’s a LOT for our small but mighty rescue group, but we are up for the holiday challenge! |

First came Mama Olive and her pups. Then, Mama Grace and her pups. Now we are awaiting the imminent arrival of Mama Raven and her flock of eight, plus two stowaways! Raven’s case became urgent after she and three puppies were nearly hit when crossing a major highway. After all the puppies and Raven were picked up, it was discovered that two additional stray puppies had been added to the little family in the shelter. We couldn’t leave any of these beautiful pups behind. So very soon, FCAR will welcome Mama Raven, Wren, Holland, Starling, Budgie, Falcon, Puffin, Jack Sparrow, Dodo, and stowaways Tagalong and Samoa! |

We need fosters or adopters! Mama Raven’s puppies are eight weeks old now, so they can be fostered or adopted separately. To learn more about this group or any of the new puppy families, please visit our website. You can also find our foster and adoption applications on our website. If you are already approved and can help, please send us an email. |
| Happy Holidays to all of Forever Changed Animal Rescue’s adopters, fosters, volunteers and donors!
We couldn’t rescue these and other homeless, abused and neglected animals without your help. Thank you for all you do, and we look forward to working with you to save these pups and more in the coming year! |

Our Inaugural FCAR Calendar is a Hit! |
| The first-ever FCAR calendar was was a lot of fun to put together — we loved seeing the photos of all our happy alums! — and proved to be a hit with supporters. The project netted over $2,700, which will be used to further our mission of rescuing homeless, abused and neglected dogs. Thank you!
Although calendar sales have ended, here’s a gentle reminder that we’re always accepting monetary donations via Venmo, @ForeverChangedAnimalRescue-FCA. There is a special need this year due to the number of costly medical cases we had. We are so grateful for your generosity! |

A Very Special Pup Seeks His Forever Home |
Henry is an incredibly sweet and loving hound mix who needs a new foster or permanent placement by Jan. 6, 2023. Henry is blind, but he fools everyone he meets because he navigates super well in the home and outside. Without a foster or adopter, he will have to be boarded, which we know will be very difficult for him. Visit our website for a foster or adoption application, or email us with any questions. |
| Henry is totally blind in his left eye, but we think he can see some light and shadows in his right. He even goes up and down stairs without any issues! Poor Henry was found abandoned in the woods of rural Virginia. It is a miracle that this blind pup was able to survive out there on his own. Henry is a goofball who loves to play and run in the yard but is also happy to cuddle up in a corner or snuggle up to your legs in what his foster calls a "Henry Hug.” Like a typical hound: |

Henry needs lots of exercise, at least a couple of hours a day. He loves to sniff, and sometimes his houndy nose takes over and he has strong opinions on where he wants to go. While usually quiet, Henry does bark like a hound.
Handsome Henry’s ideal home would be a quiet one with a secure fenced-in yard, with adopters who are gentle, patient and nurturing as he settles into his new forever space, especially while he's mapping his new environment. |
| It’s a Very Happy Holiday for Dolly and Her New Dad!Dolly came to us with her TEN puppies! It was a daunting task for any young mom to care for a new litter, and with 10, she was drained. After all the pups were adopted, Dolly sat with zero adopter interest for months. We were baffled because she has the best personality: She is loving, gentle and great with all humans, dogs and kids. She did have a bit of anxiety that she needed to work on, but that soon subsided after the chaos of motherhood ended. |

Then, her future dad was browsing Petfinder one morning while waiting for his Starbucks order and stumbled upon Dolly's profile. One look at her adorable face and he was mesmerized! He met Dolly at an adoption event, and was determined she was meant to be his dog. Dolly's adoption was at last finalized FOUR long months after being in foster care. We are so thrilled that she's found her forever home and is receiving all the love that she so deserves! |
