Santa turned up on Christmas Eve to say hello to the children of Astbury Golf Club. The children accompanied by Parents Grandparents, Aunts Uncles and family friends filled the clubhouse. Using some Christmas magic Santa was dropped of by Rudolph on the 18th. Rudolph and his mates who do not play golf left Santa at the wrong and of the 18th fairway leaving Santa with a long walk up the 18th to the clubhouse.
The packed room cheered Santa when he appeared courtesy of Santa magic in the clubhouse, where with the help of his assistant Estelfy, presents were distributed. Dinner and Disco completed the event.

Astbury Golf Clubs Senior section turned out to celebrate another Christmas. Mature in age but not in spirit a great evening was had by all. Humour was provide by the Skipper the Captain and the Vice President.
